The Acciona Trasmediterránea Fleet
Acciona Trasmediterránea have
one of the best equipped fleets in Spain,. They use the latest
technological advances in security and quality for its on board
services. Their ferries are equipped to provide the highest levels
of comfort so that the passenger finds that the journey is an
attractive part of their holidays: swimming pool, cabins, bar,
restaurant, cinema and TV room, disco, air conditioning and a
spacious garage so that you can take your own car. For cargo,
large ships for housing lorries, refrigerator vehicles, machinery,
special transport and heavy rolling cargo. They also have an “Express
Service” to guarantee the rapid and safe delivery of the
cargo.

The Ferry and Pets
Transport of pets is exclusively carried out in the spaces of
ships provided for that purpose. Blind people may be accompanied
by their guide dogs, according to their specific regulations at
no extra charge. The charge for carrying pets on the ferry varies
according to the line. Passengers must carry the certificates
of their pets, as prescribed by the Health Authorities. The food
and care of the pets while on board shall be the responsibility
of the pets owners.
Surf Gear, Bicycles and Pleasure Craft
Surf and windsurf equipment are usually carried in the garage,
as baggage, at no extra cost. Bicycles are allowed in the passenger
zone on board under certain circumstances. Pleasure craft will
be held in the garage of the vessel along with the passenger’s
vehicle as an integral part of the vehicle. The tariff will depending
to the route and total length measurements (including tow bar)
and height of the vehicle plus the boat.
Snacks and Meals
Ferries have bar-cafeteria service (except Jet Foil high speed
ship), and ferries with self-service and restaurant offer meals
during the crossing. All ships have dispenser machines for snacks
and sweets. In Club Class on high-speed vessels, breakfast, lunch,
tea or snacks are served free of charge, but this depends on the
timetable of the line. The ferry ticket includes meals for passengers
travelling on the Juan J. Sister, that operates weekly between
Cadiz and the Canary Islands.
Ferry - On Board Sales
All ships (with the exception of the Jet Foil high speed ship)
have on board shopping where ferry passengers can choose from
a wide assortment of gifts and presents.
Children
All children over two years of age and under twelve will pay 50
per 100 of the applied tariff. On international lines with Tangiers
and Nador, this rate covers children over four years of age and
under twelve. Children up to two years of age go free, as long
as they do not occupy a seat. Some ships have a child’s
play area (nursery) on board: Sorolla and Fortuny superferries
and Juan J. Sister Ferry.
Baggage Check-In
There is a baggage check-in service at the Ferry Terminals of
Barcelona, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca.
You are currently advised to check-in your luggage twenty minutes
at least before the deadline for issuing the boarding passes.
Disabled People
Acciona Trasmediterránea’s attention to persons of
reduced mobility is defined in on board staff care, and in creating
equipment and services especially designed to help them move around
on their own aboard the new construction ships.
