Color Line Ferry History

Color Line AS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Color Group ASA. This company operates seven international cruise ferry lines between ten ports in Norway, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. The Color Line fleet totals 10 ships. Color Group ASA operates in the fields of passengers and goods, hotel operation, restaurants, retailing, entertainment and organised tour production. 4.2 million people travelled with Color Line in 2004. The company carried more than 800,000 private cars and 160,000 heavy goods vehicles. Color Hotel Skagen AS in Denmark is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Color Group and operates as an integral part of the Color Line business.

Color Line's ships have facilities and activities that are suitable for every age group. On board there are all categories of restaurants and large tax-free shops with a wide selection of goods.

Cabins
Color Line offer a wide range of cabins on their ships from the roomy five-star Color Class suites to the more modest one-star cabins. The size and standard of a cabin within each category varies from ship to ship. Not all cabin categories are available on all Color Line ships.

On Board Safety
Color Line welcome you on board and hope you'll have a most pleasant voyage. For your own comfort and safety, they would like you to acquaint yourself with the ship and read their brochure on their Safety On Board procedures and systems.
