P&O Driver Accompanied
P&O prides itself on the facilities it offers commercial drivers on all their routes both ashore and onboard. From the moment that drivers arrive at one of their ports they are greeted by dedicated, friendly staff who ensure that their loads are quickly and efficiently processed as soon as possible. Once aboard, they can relax and enjoy the facilities provided exclusively for their use including restaurant, lounge, showers and toilets.

P&O Unaccompanied
P&O handles various types of unaccompanied traffic including drop trailers, cars, caravans, agricultural machinery and other types of unaccompanied traffic. Their dockside staff are well trained and experienced in handling all types of equipment and they operate a modern fleet of Tugmasters. This helps to ensure the safe stowage and movement of all traffic through the port.

Hazardous Cargo
P&O Irish Ferries operate an International Maritime Organisation Dangerous Goods Code computer database and have trained personnel who can provide advise and guidance to customers on their hazardous transportation needs.

P&O Heavy Haulage and Containers
P&O Irish Sea staff have the skills to handle a wide range of heavy and outsized cargo. They have shipped traced machines, piling rigs, construction plant, and excavators, wind turbines and even a mile of railway carriages. The maximum weight for heavy haulage is 180 tonnes and maximum height is 5m. P&O Irish Sea offer a total lift-on lift-off facility for container transport operators.
